Flight Training

Overview:

Welcome to our path for helping you get into the air.  Whether you are a Future or Existing Aviator, at Tailspinners it is our greatest pride for you to be taking the time read about Flight Training.  Our facility is focused on your success while keeping things as simple as possible.  If this is your first time learning about how to fly, it is important to note that flight training can be divided into two parts, Flight Instruction (Practical) and Ground Instruction (Knowledge).  At our facility we offer both Flight and Ground Instruction.  For additional information, you can contact us at 1-856-495-6919 or through the online form below.

Flight Instruction (Practical):  First Time, Advanced Students and Licensed Pilots

For first time students, your first steps will be working towards your first license to become a Private Pilot.  If it is your first time ever taking the controls of an aircraft, we recommend our introduction to flight program as a first step.  The Introduction to Flight Program features 1 hour of Ground Instruction and 1 Hour of Flight Instruction and can be purchased by contacting us at 1-856-495-6919 (upon completion of the sale, a certificate will be mailed to your address).  It is important to note an Introduction to Flight Program is not required to begin flight training, it is only offered as a more knowledge base inclusive experience.

For Advance Students, our instructors offer a multitude of services to help you through your Instrument, Complex and Commercial Licenses/Ratings/Endorsements.

If you are a Licensed Pilot, our instructors can help to assist with maintaining currency. While our airplanes are able to be utilized for maintaining currency, we can also arrange for our instructors to provide training in your aircraft as well.

It is important to note, at Tailspinners we have a philosophy that our instructors should be of a very professional level in both their Aviation and Personal Carriers.  As such, we do not have young instructors operating within our facility.  On average, Flight Instructors who work with Tailspinners have thousands of hours as Aviators.

Ground Instruction (Knowledge): First Time and Advanced Students

As a different approach to Ground Instruction as well as to insure adherence to a set curriculum, Tailspinners offers a multimedia format presentation throughout the week in our Classroom Theater.  Multimedia courses run on a set schedule as published below, are offered at no charge and are open to the public on a first come first serve basis.  Please note there is a maximum of 12 seats in our theater classroom, if you would like to reserve a seat in advance, you can do so through the online form below.
